Our Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Dulcinea Maria Abeyta, was greeted by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, June 15, 2024. Dulcinea, also known as Nea, was born on August 15, 1934 in Monero, N.M. to Josefita Lara and Jose B. Trujillo. She was a faithful servant of God and knew the power of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Nea grew up in Monero and lived there until she met her husband, Manuel Abeyta Jr. They married on July 5, 1955. They spent sixty-three years together before his death in 2018. Together they had ten children and raised one grandchild as their own. They had several moves before making Farmington, N.M. their permanent home. Nea was employed by various places but her favorite was at the Senior Center in Santa Fe, N.M. Of course, it was her favorite, because she loved to play bingo. She also enjoyed watching her game shows, dancing, singing with her children and grandchildren, and spending time with all her family. She is very loved and will be deeply missed. We will continue to honor and cherish her memory in years to come. Dulcinea is preceded in death by parents, Jose and Josefita Trujillo; husband, Manuel Abeyta Jr; granddaughters, Angel Abeyta and Lori Abeyta; grandsons, Billy Abeyta and Patrick Abeyta; sister, Sensacion (Chon) Trujillo; brothers, Joe, Sigfredo, Gilbert, Wilfredo, and Facundo Trujillo. She is survived by sons, Anthony Abeyta, Richard Abeyta, Leo Abeyta, Bobby (Kathy) Abeyta, Manuel Abeyta III, and Ray Soliz. Daughters, Juanita (Stevan) Garcia, Josie (Keith) Jadwinski, June (Eli) Romo, Sharon (Gabe) Martinez. Sisters, Genevieve Lozada and Marcella Rivera. Nea was also blessed with thirty-four grandchildren, fifty-six great-grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at La Rosa De Saron Church, 930 NM Hwy 516 Flora Vista N.M. Burial and reception to follow in Los Ojos N.M.
