Obituary Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Caregiver - Dulcinea Kandy Barreras was born on October 18, 1954 to Feliciano Elsie Barreras in Las Vegas, NM. She was the oldest of ten children. Dulcinea made her home in Colorado Springs where she loved and dedicated her life to taking care of the elderly. She was by the side of many of many patients as they were in there final days here on Earth. She helped them to pass on to Heaven with her love and kind words as most didn't feel ready. She was a loving Mother to her children and grandchildren; her family was her life and gave her the greatest joy. She was survived by her husband, Gill Romero; her children, Barbara (Ted) Armijo, Lillian (Ryan) Kenney, Christopher Manuel, Cheyenne (Ben) Romero Martinez, Juan (Stephanie) Romero, Gilbert Romero, Genevieve (Lupe) Haro, Monique Henry, Monica Romero, Frani Romero. She is also survived by her mother, Elise Barreras; sisters, Mary (Eddie) Gonzalas, Joanne (Jon) Walker, Elsie Montijo; Brothers, Roy (Colleen) Barreras, Ruben Joey Barreras and sister-in-law Loraine Barreras. She is preceded in death by her Father, Feliciano Barreras; sister, Joanne Barreras; brothers, Gene and Dela Barreras and Jr. Barreras, an infant son and her fur baby Oreo.
