Dustin Blake Griffin

Dustin "Dusty" Blake Griffin, 38, went home to be with his personal Lord and savior on Sunday, November 13, 2022. A memorial service honoring the life of Dusty will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 3:00PM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. from 2:00PM to 3:00PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request that donations be made to Agape Care Georgia, 645 Tallulah Trail Suite 202, Warner Robins, GA 31088. Dusty was born on August 2, 1984 in Warner Robins, Georgia to Melanie Morris Griffin and to the late William "Kornbread" Douglas Griffin. In addition to his father, he is preceded by his fur baby, Lucy. Lucy held a special place in Dusty's heart from the very first day. Dusty was very much a spontaneous individual who strived to make others smile. He was a very skilled chef who worked at Kudzu Seafood Company in Macon, Georgia. In his free time he could often times be found watching football and baseball cheering on his Georgia Bulldogs, Falcons, and Atlanta Braves. Dusty truly loved being surrounded by those he loved and was a devoted son, brother, and friend to many. He will forever be remembered for his infectious smile and his quick wit. His memory will forever be cherished by his loving mom, Melanie (Jimmy Paquin) Griffin; siblings, Chad (Adrienne) Griffin, Casey (Samantha Bily) Griffin; Nephews, Elijah "Cohen" Griffin, Simon James Griffin, Malcolm Floyd Griffin; Niece, Kerrington Griffin. He is also survived by his mee-maw, Mable Morris; dear friend, Celeste Medrano; along with a host of extended family members and countless friends.
