Dwight Louis Shaw age 60, of Minneapolis, Minnesota passed away on October 2, 2015. He was born in Union City, Tennessee on December 15th, 1954 to Joe Simpson and Margaret Shields. He is survived by his brother, Mike Young of Duluth, Minnesota; sister, Jacqueline Shields of Saint Paul, Minnesota; aunt, Mildred Blair of Union City, Tennessee; uncle, James McIntyre, of Denmark, Germany; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Simpson; mother, Margaret Shields; brothers, John A. King and Ike Young; and step-father, James Shield.There will be a Visitation for Dwight from 4 - 8 p.m. Tuesday 0ctober 13th at the Spielman Mortuary.

Spielman Mortuary has been helping Saint Paul families since 1950 when Kenneth and Helen Spielman purchased the National Funeral Home. For over 30 years, the couple lived above the funeral home and took just one vacation. They sold the home in 1984 to the Willwerscheid family. We still operate Spielman Mortuary with the same traditions of pride, sensitivity, value, and attention to detail that the Spielmans followed for over three decades....
