Dylan Cole Irwin July 24, 2005 – April 2, 2019 Dylan Cole Irwin was born in Keflavik, Iceland at 4:06 PM on July 24th, 2005 to Jacob and Rachel Irwin. Dylan was Jacob and Rachel’s firstborn and he brought new meaning to love and happiness into their lives. Dylan was always highly curious and observant about his surroundings. He absorbed everything that interested him on a level that always made Jacob and Rachel so proud of him and admire his growing mind. Dylan was excited to learn new things and constantly challenging himself to grow in the things that he loved to do, such as playing guitar. Dylan accomplished so much in his 13 years of life; more than many of us has had the chance to do in a lifetime. He had lived on 3 continents, ate Ramen in Japan, rocked out at concerts and lived a full and joyous life with his family. Dylan loved music. He played the piano, guitar and loved science and reading. He was a ‘foodie’, loved painting, art and everything in between. In life, Dylan was teaching us more than we were teaching him, at times. He never failed to call out random facts about animals, science or the world around us. He never ceased to amaze those that loved him, with his intellect. He was loved beyond measure by his little sisters and brother, and was a loving and patient big brother. Dylan was a beautiful, kindhearted and unique soul who brought so much joy and love into all of our lives. When he entered a room, the first thing you would notice was his beautiful green eyes and infectious smile. He had a presence that will forever remain in out hearts and memories. Dylan was an organ donor. In his passing, he went on to saves the lives of four people and change the course of their destiny. Dylan’s beautiful heart is still beating strong and continues to give life. We honor Dylan today. As Dylan’s family we vow to honor Dylan every day in living life with gratitude and love. We will see life through new eyes and appreciate all that we are given. We are forever grateful for the time that we were given with Dylan. “What we once have enjoyed deeply, we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.” Helen Keller
