Earl Alex Baumgartner
December 4th, 1930 - July 30th, 2024
Earl Alex Baumgartner, 93 years of age, passed away on Tuesday, July 30th, 2024 at Grace Pointe Continuing Care Sr. Campus in Greeley CO.
Earl was born on December 4th, 1930 in Mead, Colorado to the late Alex and Pauline (Blumenshine) Baumgartner where they resided until moving to Prospect CO where Earl attended School before pursuing a life long career as a farmer.
On February 18th, 1950 Earl married the love of his life Darlene Elouise Yost. They spent 74 years together.
Earl was a Farmer his whole life and he enjoyed fishing for Trout and Walleye when he found time to do so. He loved tinkering in his garage fixing things, watching the Rockies and Broncos play as well as Little League games, and enjoyed spending time with his family most of all.
Earl is survived by his wife Darlene (Yost), son Rodney (Linda) Baumgartner, grandchildren:Tammi Baumgartner, Tricia Baumgartner son Terry (Pam) Baumgartner, grandchildren: Shawn (Melissa) Baumgartner, Jaime (James) Simpson, Todd (Sarah) Baumgartner, daughter Roxanne Morgan, grandchildren: Candy Bartlett, Nicklas Bartlett: son Dennis Baumgartner: grandchildren Derek (Kristen) Baumgartner, and Landon Baumgartner; Great grandchildren Caleb Baumgartner, Aubry VanZee, Alec Vanzee, Isaac Bartlett Tores, Naomi Baumgartner, Ella Baumgartner, Avery Simpson, Morgan Simpson, Reese Simpson, Liam Baumgartner, Eli Baumgartner, Masen Baumgartner, and Brady Baumgartner.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents and son Dennis.
There will be a visitation at 9:30am on Thursday August 8th, 2024, followed by Celebration of Life Service at 10:30am at Adamson Life Celebration Home 2000 47th Avenue Greeley CO with burial to follow at Linn Grove Cemetery. Reception will follow graveside service in the Adamson Life Celebration Reception Hall.
