Clark Jr., Earl W., CDR, USCGR (RET.), 85, passed away peacefully at home, Friday, April 7. He was born in Chicago, IL to Earl W. Sr. and Charlesalene Clark on January 17, 1932. Earl Jr. graduated from the United States Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT in 1954. He met Marjorie in New London and they have been married for 63 years. They had three children, Peter, Kimberly and Kenneth. While on active duty in the Coast Guard, Earl spent one year at Eniwetok, Marshall Islands, during testing of the Atomic Bomb. Earl was preceded in death by his youngest son, Kenneth. He is survived by his wife Marjorie; son Peter; daughter and son-in-law Kimberly and Joseph Skalski; his four wonderful granddaughters, Kirsten, Courtney, Kayla and Kari whom he adored; and two sisters, Joan Cree and Claudia Hoyda. There will be a visitation on Monday, April 10 from 10am-11am at Anderson McQueen- NE Chapel followed by graveside service at Sunnyside Cemetery, St. Petersburg at 11:30am.
