Edd Witt

Edd Witt, 81 born in Kingsport, Tenn., passed away on Monday, October 21, 2013, at his home in Viera, Fl. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sharon, and his children, Patrick of Carlsbad, CA, Edwina Griffin her husband Chuck; Jackie Walker her husband, Steve; Mickie Diebert her husband Allen and brother Benjamin Witt and 5 grandchildren – all local. Edd graduated BSEE from University of Tenn. Worked and retired from IBM and was very involved in the Apollo, Skylab and ASTP space programs until 1975. Edd served in the United States Air Force. His unquenchable thirst for life was an inspiration. He lived and loved it all. At Edd’s request there will be no services. His ashes will be scattered in the ocean at a later date.
