Eddie Ray Ferree

Obituary Eddie Ray Ferree died in a tragic traffic accident on October 17, 2016. Ray was born on February 23 in 1946. He lived in his beloved Livermore, Colorado home with his wife Robin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Shirley Ferree, and his sister Linda Lowrie. Ray was a loving father, step father and foster father. He worked for over 30 years at GE in Salem, Virginia as an applications engineer. He was a loving husband, loyal friend, loved puns, and loved reading history books. Ray is survived by a large, unique set of family and friends, his wife Robin,brother Steve Ferree (Cindy), daughter Suzanne Turner (Chip), son Chris Ferree (Dana), step children Sarah Parker (Mike) Matthew Henrickson, Evie All (Joe), Walter Fisher (Sharon), Scott Fisher, and 2 wonderful foster children. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. The celebration of life will take place at Sunday October 23, 2016 during the 10:45 am service at the Livermore Community Church, 276 W. County Road 74E Livermore, CO 80536. A gathering will follow at the church immediately following the service. Light lunch will be served. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either an educational fund for the 2 foster children and a grandson, to Rice Elementary School in Wellington, CO, or to Livermore Community Church.
