Eddie Vasquez age 58 of Eugene, Oregon, formerly of Monroe, Oregon, passed away on December 25, 2013. He was born on December 22, 1955 in Tuscon, Arizona to Eddie F. & Mary Lou (LaVas) Vasquez.There will be a Celebration of Life on Monday, December 30th at 1:00 pm at the home of Don Valenti in Cottage Grove, Oregon.Eddie graduated from Tuscon High School, class of 1973, during high school he was a gymnist, he placed 2nd in state.He served in the U S Army for 4 years and was a cook.He worked for Cascade Fabrication for 9 years and was part owner of Rectec Inc in Springfield, OR for 11 years. He owned and operated Eddy Out Inc. for 2 years.Eddie married Suzanne Valenti on April 2, 1988 in Santa Clara, CA.He is survived by his wife, Suzanne of Eugene, his father, Eddie F Vasquez of Tuscon, AZ, two step-sons, Anthoney Perez of Bastrop, TX and Albert Perez of San Jose, CA. also four sisters, Maryann Vasquez, Frances Vidal, Gloria Moreno & Bertha Vasquez all of Tuson, AZ. and numerous nieces & nephews.He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou and brother, Alex Vasquez.Memorial Contributions can be sent to Wounded Warriors Fund.Arrangements entrusted to Musgrove Family Mortuary.
