Edith Evelyn Headings

Edith E. Headings Edith E. Headings, 82, passed away after a short illness on November 6, 2007 at her daughter’s residence in Red Bluff, California. She was born on February 8, 1925 in Beverly, Massachusetts to George and Retsevlys Miller. Edith was one of eight children. She worked in the ship-yards in WWII. She married Charles Headings in Southern California, they had two children. In later years Edith moved to Red Bluff. Her gift in life was always giving of herself to help others; during their illnesses and showing them the way home. She was my loving mother, my teacher and my best friend. I will miss her deeply. Edith is survived by her two children, daughter, Sabrina Bowen-Pinkston (Jon Pinkston), son, David Headings (Lori); four grandchildren, Brandy and Amanda Headings, Jesse Springs and Jacob Bowen; one great granddaughter, Jade Springs; her special friend for more than forty years, Doris Morris; her loving partner for the past seven years, Bill Iorg; and numerous extended family members.
