Edie married her sweetheart, "Bud" Huseby in 1947. They lived in Wausau and were blessed with 4 children whom they greatly loved! Edie's faith and her family were her highest priorities! She relished serving the Lord at the Wausau Bible Church; teaching Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, singing in the choir, working in the kitchen, and presiding over the Ladies Missionary Fellowship. Edie loved children and teaching them about her Savior. She taught Good News Clubs in her home for over 20 years. Edie was a kind and capable hostess, welcoming numerous family, friends and strangers, often on short notice! She was a generous lady! During WWII she was a secretary to a special agent in the FBI under J. Edgar Hoover in Washington, D.C. She also did survey work and personal sales. The last 15 years before retirement, Edie worked as a library assistant at Wausau West High School and North Central Technical College. When she and Bud moved to Florida in 1995, her ministry of hospitality, prayer and helping others continued. She also led a ladies Bible Study and was a greeter at Northside Baptist Church. Edie enjoyed being with people! In 2013 Edie moved to Oshkosh, WI where she could be close to her daughter. She attended Plymouth Church and still cared for people with her prayers and genuine smiles. Edie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Milton (Bud) Huseby.
