Edith A. Johnson of Eaton, CO entered her heavenly home on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado. Edith was born on May 5, 1912 in Lindsborg, KS to Frank and Minnie (Olson) Johnson. The family lived in a rural area outside of Lindsborg. She loved to cook and bake and had a garden of flowers and vegetables that all enjoyed. After leaving the farm they moved to Colorado Springs, CO to manage an apartment complex and later moved to Sterling, CO to work part time at Garretson’s Sport Center. They totally retired in 1979 and moved back to the Greeley/Eaton Area. Roland passed away in 1996. They were married sixty years. Both were active members of Eaton Evangelical Free Church and served the Lord there in many ways. She is survived by her daughter, Maurine Garretson and husband Zeke of Eaton; grandsons, Eric Garretson of Evergreen, CO, and Todd Garretson and wife Cheri of Eaton; granddaughter, Kristy Lampe and husband Brian of Windsor, CO; great-grandchildren, Cindy Joseph and husband Bret of Bayfield, CO, Tyler Garretson of Fort Collins, CO, Tanner Garretson of Eaton, McKenzie, Madison and Montana Lampe, all of Windsor; great-great grandchildren, Tegan and Madeline Joseph of Bayfield.
