Edmond "Eddie" Jimenez
September 10th, 1961 - April 29th, 2017
Mr. Edmond "Eddie" Jimenez of Amsterdam died suddenly on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from a heart attack. Born in Manhattan, NY on September 10, 1961 he was the son of the late Ramon and Patricia "Mama" Santos. A Veteran, Eddie served proudly with the United States Army for several years until his honorable discharge. He enjoyed helping with the Annual Harley Rendezvous Classic each summer. He was employed at several local companies, most recently for PCT in Amsterdam. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his wife, Salima "Sally" Jimenez; an adopted son, Scott White; brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends. A Graveside Service of Remembrance will take place on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 11a.m. at St. Michael's Cemetery in Amsterdam with military honors. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
