Edna Ruth McCoy Edna Ruth McCoy of Rochester is now with God. She passed away September 19, 2009 at Providence Hospital in Centralia. She was 83. Edna Ruth Ledford was born May 16, 1926 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Walter Scott and Zuma Mable (Page) Ledford. She was happily married to Freddie L.D. McCoy in Wetumka, Oklahoma on July 1, 1942. She preferred to go by Ruth. She was a member of the local Christian church of God. She had been a resident of Rochester since 1992, when she and her family moved here from Shelton. She has followed the death of her husband, and her son, Byron Eugene. Survivors include her daughter, Freda Sanders of Rochester; her sons Jimmie McCoy of Medford, Oregon, Freddie (Sherry) McCoy of Shelton, and Glen McCoy of Rochester; three brothers and one sister; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
