Eduardo Santiago passed away peacefully with his family by his side on March 7th, 2024. He was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on January 5th, 1942 to Adela and Tomás Santiago. Eddie had a career in construction for Tilcon New York, Inc. He had a passion for baseball, boxing, country music and western movies. He was a devoted husband and doting father & grandfather. He was the consummate family man. Eddie was always happy, easy-going & loved by many. He is survived by his loving & devoted wife, Ana (nee Alonzo) of 55 years, his daughters, Lisa Santiago [Raymond Flood], Odette Santiago, his son Edward Santiago as well as his three, loving grandchildren: Gabriel, Michael and Aurora. He is also survived by his brother Albert Santiago of Florida, his sister Josefina Santiago DeJesus of Puerto Rico along with many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, brothers Juan & Miguel Santiago, his sister Cruz Maria Soto as well as various nieces & nephews. Visitation will be held at T.J. McGowan & Sons Funeral Home in Haverstraw, New York on Tuesday, March 12th from 3-7PM. A funeral mass with Catholic burial to follow will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 13th at St. Peter’s Church in Haverstraw, New York.
