Edward "Pete" Dale Ager III

Tribute Edward Dale “Pete” Ager, III, passed away suddenly on Tuesday August 6th. Born on Valentine’s Day, 1982 in Aurora, Colorado, he was the son of Edward Dale Ager, Jr. and Sharon Ager. A military move took Pete to Moore County, North Carolina when he was 7 years old. He attended Vass - Lakeview Elementary School and was a graduate of Union Pines High. He went to attend Sandhill’s Community College and later ran his own business, “Ager's Pro Painting”. Pete had a gift for music. He played in bands in high school and as a young adult and was featured in Rolling Stone Magazine. Pete was a kind soul and humanitarian. A poet and romantic with a talent for prose; he was a wordsmith. He received much of his inspiration from his never-ending love for his children and his great appreciation for nature. Pete is survived by his parents Ed and Sharon. He is also survived by fiancé, Laura Jenkins. He was the loving father of Makayla, Lydia, Scarlett and Atticus. He is also survived by his sister Sandra Denise Rhodes and her children: Aislinn Willow and Connor Sonny. He was the grandson of Eva Ager of Longmont and is survived by many caring aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Carroll-Lewellen Funeral Chapel.
