Of Delafield, was embraced into the arms of his beloved mother Mary and father Patrick after a valiant fight with cancer on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014 at the age of 72. Edward "Vic" was the beloved and adored husband of Linda (nee Roark) Bolger of Delafield; devoted father to Thomas E. (Amanda) Bolger of Madison; and cherished brother of T. Michael (Virgina) Bolger of Mequon, Bernadette L. Bolger of Novato, CA, and sister-in-law Janet M. Bolger of Minocqua. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Edward "Vic" is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Patrick Arthur Bolger, and Andrew Joseph Bolger. The first visitation for Edward "Vic" will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the 4:45 p.m. Eulogy, followed by the 5:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014 at St. Anthony on the Lake, W280 N2101 Prospect Ave. (Hwy SS) Pewaukee, WI 53072. The Rev. Anthony Zimmer will be officiating. A second visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014 at Bolger Funeral Home, 212 E Chicago Ave, Minocqua, WI 54548 with a graveside service to follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Edward "Vic's" honor are appreciated to the Prostate Cancer Research Dept. through the Medical College of Wisconsin, Office of Development, 8701 Watertown Plank Rd. Milwaukee, WI. 53226. This wonderful man will be deeply missed. Until we meet again, my love, may God hold you in the palm of his hands.
