Edward Jerome Braverman

Edward Jerome (Broccoli) Braverman a “True Mensch”. Edward was born June 15th, 1952 and passed on July 20th, 2020. Born and raised in Miami, FL, he was a resident of Las Vegas since 2003. Ed was the only love of Jackie Marlise, dating in 1970, married for 45 years. He was the very proud father of Russell Bryce (Ashley) and beloved Pop Pop to Leah Bella, Melissa May, William Roy, and Ben Robert. Ed’s other sons were his beloved springer spaniels- Barney Boot, Lucky One, Max, and Princeton. A true family man, Ed leaves his sister, Barbara Greene, niece and nephews Michael and Lisa (Jeff), and great niece Lindsey. His brother Richard Braverman (Allison) and nephews David and Joshua. Sister-in-law Dorie (Michael). Uncle Eddie to Niece Jennifer B. Castiniera (Danny) and Great Nieces Heidi and Skylar. Uncle Ed to nephew Aaron Benjamin (Margie) and great nephew Noah. The ultimate University of Miami Hurricane Alumni, he bled orange and green – for football, baseball, basketball, or any other athletic sporting event. A righteous man, like his grandfather PB, Ed was a member of Temple Beth AHM Israel in Cooper City, Florida, and Temple Sinai of Las Vegas, Nevada. A strong supporter of Shenker Academy, his presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The family asks for any donations in Ed’s memory to be directed to Shenker Academy of Las Vegas, The Brain Injury Association of Florida, or The Wounded Warrior Project.
