December 26th, 1915 - February 19th, 2003
Farrington, Edward C., Jr., 87, of Dunedin, died Wednesday Feb. 19, 2003 at Westminster Shores Health. Born in Hartford, CT, he was a longtime resident of West Hartford and moved to Dunedin, FL permanently in 1997 having wintered there for twelve years. He spent his business life in insurance, associated with The Phoenix of Hartford, Travelers, and Amica. He was a member of The Old Guard. He was active in lawn bowling with membership in Thistle and Fernleigh and Clearwater Lawn Bowling Clubs. During WWII, he served with the Army Air Corps in the 400th bomb group. Survivors include his two sons: Edward C., III, Dunedin, FL; and Peter, St. Petersburg; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make contributions to the Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, 300 E. Bay Dr., Largo, FL 33770.
