Edward Clayton Jedrey
October 9th, 1927 - August 9th, 2014
Jedrey, Edward C. Jr., 86, of Seminole, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2014. Ed was born in Cambridge, Mass. and raised in New York. He entered the USAF after high school graduation and served for 25 years earning the rank of Major and working as a Navigator. He retired to Seminole and worked for the US Postal Service for 19 years. In his retirement he was very active at American Legion post 273 in Madeira Beach serving as Commander, Adjutant and Finance Officer among other positions. He was also a volunteer at Bay Pines VA Hospital for many years. Ed and his wife Marilyn were looking forward to their 61st wedding anniversary at the end of this year. He is also survived by his daughters Patti Jedrey of Hillsboro Beach, Fl, Nancy Eberhart (John) of Mission Viejo, CA, Debi Tribit of Oviedo, FL and granddaughters Alison Eberhart and Caitlin Tribit. Services will be Friday, August 15th from 4-6 pm at Reese Funeral Home in Seminole. A funeral mass is planned at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Seminole on Saturday, August 16th at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Pinellas Talking Book Library, 1330 Cleveland St., Clearwater, FL, 33755.
