September 10th, 1914 - March 12th, 2005
Kraus - Edward, age 90, of Treasure Island, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2005 at Palms of Pasadena Hospital in South Pasadena. Born in Austria, he moved to Florida in 1979 from Huntington Hills, New York. He was the founder of the Cuddle Knit Knitting Mills in Deer Park, Long Island for approximately thirty-nine years and was Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth "Betty"; two sons, Roger Kraus of Halcott Center, New York and Edward Kraus of Cumming, Georgia; two step-daughters, M. Laurie Gendron and Elizabeth Grolley, both of St. Petersburg; one sister, Gabriella Tuerpe of Salt Lake City, Utah, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. David C. Gross Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, Central Avenue Chapel, St. Petersburg is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be 4 PM Tuesday at David C. Gross Funeral Home with Fr. Daniel Greene officiating. Friends will be received from 2 PM until service time. Burial will be private. The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the charity of your choice. Service Information
