Obituary Edward Douglass Loeffler, 63, was found dead in his apartment in Colorado Springs, the morning of Wednesday, May 25, 2016. Cause and time of death are still unknown. He was born on March 21, 1953 in Cook County, Chicago IL, to Margaret and Wallace Loeffler. They are both deceased. He married Joy (Cook) Loeffler in 1978 in Illinois. They then moved to Colorado Springs where they had their daughter Kimberly (Loeffler) Sack. Kimberly is married to Christopher Sack and they have one son Benjamin Sack. They reside in Colorado Springs. Also surviving is his sister Patricia Goldman of Chicago; along with her husband Mark Goldman and Patricia's son, Michael Hill. Edward's nephew Michael is married to Cara and they have two beautiful children, Brayden and Kylie. He also leaves behind his aunt Maureen Doyle, his cousin Shirley Schmidt and many beloved friends.
