Edward Maurmann, Jr. age 88 passed away May 14th, 2013 in Springfield, OR. Edward was the second child born to Mildred and Ed Maurmann, Sr. in Los Angeles, CA. In the 1930’s he moved to Oregon and lived in Florence, Klamath Falls, and Eugene. He had a noteworthy career with Sears Roebuck, where he rose to the position of Store Manager. In addition, he spent numerous hours volunteering with the Scouting program, earning the prestigious Silver Beaver Award. Later in life he volunteered as the Scholarship Chairman for the Elks and was an active Moose member. He was an avid hunter, water skier, dancer, musician, and lover of life. He leaves behind his wife, Pauline, and son’s Steve and Rick and their families. Funeral Services will be on Sunday, May 19th at 1:00pm, at West Lawn Memorial Park.
