EDWARD LAWRENCE O’MALLEY, 81, resident of St. Coletta School, Jefferson, WI, died peacefully surrounded by family and friends September 12, 2018. Eddie was born January 17, 1937 in Evanston, IL to Edward J. and Mary Ellen “Mae” (Moloney) O’Malley. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a Third Order Franciscan, Best Buddies Program, avid Brewer, Packers, Badgers and Bucks fan. Cherished brother to the late Mary (the late Jack) Figel, Robert (the late Margaret), Bernadette (Dale) Elenteny and Eileen (the late Bob Coit). Adored Uncle to Katy Lieske, John Figel, Mary Colette DeGrazia, Mike Figel, Bernadette Cadman, Ellen Heming, Colette Ameche, Bob O’Malley Jr., Michelle O’Malley, Anne Mele, Kate Lippencott, Joe O’Malley, Mike O’Malley, Tony O’Malley, Jim O’Malley, Kevin O’Malley, Dale Elenteny Jr., Erin Riordan, Bernadette Joyce, Matt Elenteny, Jen Mejia, Meghan Czaszwicz, Joe Elenteny, Sheila Rusen, Colleen Herrera, Maureen Kelly, the late Bobby Coit, Brian Coit and Tim Coit. Lifelong buddy of fellow resident, Ralph Durwicki. Family, friends and others whose lives Eddie has touched are invited to Visitation on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 9-10 am and Mass at 10 am at The Chapel of St. Theresa at St. Coletta N4637 HWY Y Jefferson, WI. A Chicago funeral will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at St. Damian Church 5250 155th Street Oak Forest, IL, Visitation 12:15 Mass at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 6072, 6001 w. 111th Street Alsip, IL.
