Rivera, Edward J., age 78, born on July 3, 1934 passed away November 23, 2012 in Albuquerque, N.M. Edward passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He is preceded in death by his parents Adolfo Sr. and Pauline T. Rivera. His sisters J. Dolores Montano and Valentina C. Rivera. He is survived by his brothers Adolfo 'Scotty' Rivera, Gilbert Adrain and wife Sophie Rivera. Brother-in-law Albert S. Montano,as well as many nephews and nieces along with close personal friends. Former Navy Veteran, Edward lived a full life traveling, along with entertaining many an audience with his musical talent. He held the position of Head Maitre D' at The Watergate Hotel in Washington, D.C. He worked many years in managerial positions at prominent businesses in Santa Fe such as El Toro Liquors and Bert's Burger Bowl. Edward's quick wit and humorous nature will be missed but never forgotten. A Rosary will be recited at 11:30 a.m., with a Funeral Mass immediately following on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at the Santuario De Guadalupe, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
