Edward Rolka was born on March, 29, 1930 in McAdoo, Pennsylvania. He began his love of the outdoors on the Lehigh River, which led to a love of Fly Fishing and fly tying. He is famous for inventing the famous Breadcrust Nymph. He served honorably in the US Army after graduating high school. He married Irene Marusak in 1955. He began a career in the Johns Mansville company, which would bring him and his family to Colorado. He will be joining his wife, Irene, who passed away in 1998 in eternal life. He is survived by a his son and daughter, and three granddaughters, all of whom live in Portland, Oregon. A Memorial Service and Mass for Edward will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Parish, 6853 S. Prince St., Littleton CO 80120 In lieu of flowers, donations to the Red Cross Philippine Hurricane Disaster Relief.
