Edward "Ed" R Spohn

Edward Spohn, a man of boundless curiosity and unwavering spirit, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2024 at the age of 64.Ed was a life long collector, not just of objects, but of experiences and knowledge. A true nature enthusiast, he was happiest exploring the world and its wonders. Ed’s life was a testament to resilience. A tireless health warrior, he faced many challenges with a fighter’s spirit, always pushing forward.He graduated from Shawnee Mission NW High School and from Arizona State University with his Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.Ed was proceeded in death by his sister, Jennifer McWilliams, his brother-in-law, William Combs, and his father, Paul Spohn. He leaves behind his loving wife and son, Michelle and Philip, his mother, Carolyn Spohn, sister, Elisabeth Combs, his adoring nieces and nephews, including, Renee Lawrence and Alex Gleason, along with cherished extended family and friends. A celebration of life will follow at a later date. Donations in Ed’s name can be made to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation.
