Edward "Ed" R. Thompson
November 19th, 1944 - August 18th, 2015
Edward R Thompson passed away on August 18th, 2015 in Melbourne Florida. Ed proudly served our nation with great honor, as a Master Sgt. in the United States Air Force. He was a fun loving father, friend, and grandfather who will truly be missed. To know our dad was to love him. He was always willing to help out anyone that needed him. We were lucky that we had him in our lives. He is survived by his Mother "Ruth Thompson", Brother "Clark Thompson", and two sisters "Patty Klaiber" and "Rita Roach", his son and daughter in law "Aaron and Janice Pritchard", and daughter and son in law "Danielle and Carlos Morales. Also his four grand children "Kirsten Cox, Garrett Pritchard, Gabriel Morales, and Caleb Morales". We little knew that day, God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, In death, we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone. For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide. And although we cannot see you, You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again.
