Edward "Ed" Louis Trott of Pine Grove, California passed peacefully on January 1, 2011 with his wife of 29 years, Mary Podesta Trott by his side. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Louis P. Trott, Helen Lorie Trott; brothers, Lloyd Trott (Rosemary), Clarence Trott (Agnes) and grandson, Ryan Trott. He is survived by his wife, Mary; sons, David Trott (Victoria), Larry Trott; daughter, Darla Campbell (Bill); grandchildren, Heather Allen, Amanda Ray, Joshua Trott; great grandson, Jacob Ray; brother, Jerome J. Trott (Barbara); sister in-law, Vivian Podesta and many nieces and nephews. Ed was born in Erie, Pennsylvania, attended John the Baptist Catholic School and graduated from Academy High School in Erie. Ed moved to California in 1953 and would later retire from PG&E. He was a member of St Patrick Catholic Church in Jackson, California. Friends are invited to attend a visitation Wednesday, January 5, 2011, 10:30 A.M. with a mass of Christian burial at 12:00 P.M. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 115 Court St. Jackson, CA 95642. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church, New Building Fund, 115 Court St. Jackson, CA 95642.
