Edwin James Hyndman Ed passed away February 7, 2013 at his home in Rochester, Washington, at the age of 73. He was born May 12, 1939 to James Walter and Bernice Camilla (Renz) Hyndman in Aberdeen, Washington. Over the years, he lived in several Washington cities, including Aberdeen, Deer Park, Medical Lake, Spokane, Moses Lake, Chehalis, and Rochester; as well as in Post Falls, Idaho. Ed married Ruth Elaine Petersen on June 15, 2002 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. He was previously married to Carlene Lea Johnson and Joanne Buyea. Among his various jobs, Ed was a maintenance supervisor for Cascade Hardwood in Chehalis and Louisiana Pacific in Post Falls, and an optician at Bausch + Lomb in Spokane. He loved hunting, fishing, crabbing, camping, playing bingo, and traveling. He is survived by his wife, Ruth E. Hyndman; two sons, Michael Going Jr. (Melissa) and Mark Going (Amanda), both of Lincoln, Nebraska; six daughters, Robin Ehresman of Medical Lake, Bernice (Donato) Montano of Arizona, Carrie Emery (Tim) of Chehalis, Carla Hyndman-Smith of Chehalis, Doris Hyndman of Tacoma, Washington, and Candice Goodey (Jared) of Olympia, Washington; brothers, Les Pascoe and Mike Zillyette; sister, Margaret Ann Reuther; 25 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; Lupe Lopez, Pablo Quintero, Elias Lainez, Dennis Smith, and several extended family members, including cousins, nieces, and nephews; and close friends, Harv Merriman, Renee Stillman and Carol Gooch. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James F. Hyndman and Margaret Elizabeth (Jackson) Hyndman; parents, James Walter Hyndman and Bernice Camilla (Renz) Hyndman; daughter, Tina Lainez; sons-in-law, Donato Montano and Bruce Ehersman; and sisters, Doris Rogers and Carol Olechea.
