Eileen Joan Carey, of Waukesha, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 surrounded by her family, at the Lutheran Home in Wauwatosa at the age of 64 years. Eileen was born on March 22, 1953 in Milwaukee, the daughter of William and Catherine (Jessen) Rebholz. Eileen will be deeply missed by her siblings, James (Jean) Rebholz of Milwaukee, Larry (Hildegard) Rebholz of Milwaukee, Rosemarie (the late Mark) Etzel of North Prairie, Mary Beth (Tom) Wingenter of Alabama, (the late Daniel and Yolanda Rebholz, Mark (Cheryl) Rebholz of Mequon, John Rebholz of Pewaukee, Kenneth (Sharon Beth) Rebholz of Waukesha, Christopher (Kelly) Rebholz of Waukesha and Karen (Mark) Jones of FL; further survived by nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, David; her parents, Bill and Catherine; Brother and sister-in-law Daniel and Yolanda; niece, Heidi Etzel and nephew, Bobby Rebholz. Eileen possessed a vibrant personality and was an ardent lover of work and travel alike. After a long tenure with Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance, Eileen met her future husband David Carey of England. The two married and worked, travelled and lived all over the world. Beginning in Australia for more than a decade, the active couple then spent years in Thailand and Japan before returning to Wisconsin to be closer to Eileen's family. Eileen spent 8 years working in Medical Transcription for the Aurora Health System prior to retiring in 2012. Her indelible mark on the world will not soon be forgotten. The memorial visitation will be held on Monday, May 8, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the 4:30 p.m. memorial service at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI.
