Elaine A. Creamer (Rondeau) passed peacefully in Palm Harbor, Fl. on August 12, 2024. She was born October 23,1934 in Norwich, CT. She was the daughter of the late Gaspard and Amelia Rondeau (LeClair). On July 8, 1977 she was united in marriage to her beloved Francis ”Frank” Creamer who passed away on September 19, 2020.
She grew up in Taftville, CT. attending Sacred Heart School and Holy Family Academy, Baltic, CT. Past employers include John Myers, Norwich and Imperial Wallpaper in Ashaway, RI.Elaine and Frank were owner operators of sightseeing/diner boats first in Mystic, CT. the MV “Adventure” then moving to Florida in 1981 they operated the “Flamingo” and then the “Show Queen” on Clearwater Beach until their retirement in 1993.
She was predeceased by 2 brothers: J. Roland Rondeau (Carol) and Alfred Rondeau (Irene). Elaines’ beautiful smile, charming always helpful spirit and her love of music will be remembered by all who knew her. She will be sadly missed by daughters Joanne Gaudreau (Roland), Sheila Reese (Doug), Carolyn Smith (Rick) and predeceased by son Bruce Carty, step children: Jim Creamer Jr. (Cathryn) and Nancy Tanner (John), grandchildren, Amanda Perra (Dan), Caitlin Reese, Sean Reese (Jenny), Alishia Brewer, Jake Carty, Kevin Tanner, Kerry Tanner, Caitlyn Miller (Joseph), Shana Dressler, Bryan Rhodes, and 7 great grand children.
The family will celebrate Elaines’ life at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Empath Suncoast Hospice.org. of Pinellas County,Florida.
