Elaine Rae Horelick

Elaine Rae Horelick, 75, of Henderson, Nevada passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 16th, 2019. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends. Elaine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. She leaves behind her heartbroken children, Janice and son-in-law Marc Greb, Mathew Horelick, Rachel Horelick, Robyn and son-in-law Marc Grisar. She also leaves behind her four loving grandchildren all of whom adored her, Clayton, Kameron, Emma and Ethan. Elaine was the second oldest of four children and especially cherished the visits from her brother Jeff. She was very close to her brother-in-law Teddy and sister-in-law Marsha. Elaine was preceded in death by her beloved husband Eddie of 48 years. Elaine was known for her adventurous spirit. In her early 20's, she wanted to explore Europe, so off she went. She married the love of her life Eddie on April 21, 1967. Not long after, they left Rhode Island and drove cross country to Las Vegas, where they fell in love with the 24 hour town. The bright lights were a perfect match for Elaine's vibrant personality. Elaine became a Bingo agent and loved her coworkers and customers and they loved her back. She stayed in touch with many of them as they became life long friends. Elaine was a force of nature and left an impression on anyone she met. While she forged many dear friendships along the way, Iris Torjman was her best friend through it all. They shared a lifetime of love, support and lots of laughter. She was a good, genuine, kind-hearted person and her legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren. We know she is at peace as she is dancing in the arms of her soul mate Eddie. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 9:30am at Mid Bar Kodesh Temple, Henderson, NV, followed by interment at King David Cemetery. .
