Elaine Lincoln, 92, of Puyallup, passed away on Sunday, June 16th, 2024.  Elaine was born in Nebraska on March 13th, 1932 to George and Anna Michelsen.  Shortly after graduating from high school in 1949, she moved with her family to Hillsboro, OR.  She worked as a secretary/clerk/typist for the health department in the early years, then later for the Timber Lake Job Corps.

Elaine married Wes Lincoln September 29th, 1950, living in Hillsboro for 16 years where their three children, Ron, Sally and Rick were born.  She loved living and raising her family in the small community of Three Lynx, OR in the Mt. Hood National Forest for the next 22 years.  Retirement found Elaine and Wes moving to Waldport on the Oregon Coast, where Elaine lived for another 17 years.  In 2003 Elaine moved to Puyallup, WA.

Elaine was always an active volunteer, leading Scouts, 4-H, PTA, and Bible studies.  She enjoyed many years of TOPS, Bunco and Pinochle games, crafting, making stained glass pieces, quilting, sewing, camping and traveling.  She also volunteered at the Good Sam Immunization clinic.  She loved family get togethers, and was usually game for just about anything, including roller blading with the grandchildren when she was well into her sixties.  She was a member of The Lutheran Church of St. Paul, serving in a variety of positions.  She took college classes to learn sign language so she could interpret and speak with a deaf friend.

Elaine is survived by her children, Ron (Connie) Lincoln, Sally (Christopher) Evans, and Rick Lincoln, seven grandchildren; Hannah (Jim) Loucks, Jessica Martin, Leeha Lincoln, Christa (Travis) McNiven, Ryan Evans, Andrew (April) Lincoln, and Shannon (Marshall) Utz. Great grandchildren include Jade (Drew) Mishler, Sage and Macy Loucks, Brianna Price, Kaylee LeClair, Bailey, Evin, and Emma McNiven, Avery and Emmett Utz, and two great-great grandchildren Nixie and Zirah Mishler.  Elaine is also survived by her brothers Loren (Angie) and Chuck (Serenah) Michelsen and sister, Annette Michelsen.

Elaine requested any memorial gifts be made to The Lutheran Church of St. Paul in lieu of flowers.  Memorial services will be held at The Lutheran Church of St. Paul in Graham, WA on Saturday, July 13th, at 11 am with a light lunch afterwards.
