Mrs. Eldora Lyda Stephenson Houck, age 85, a resident of Winter Haven, passed away Tuesday (Oct. 18, 2011) at Auburndale Oaks Healthcare Center due to dementia. Mrs. Houck was born February 12, 1926, in Big Cliff, Kentucky to Fonzie and Alta (Marr) Green. She was a Winter Haven resident since 1950, coming from the Tampa area. Eldora was a retired caregiver, past member of Lake Gibson Nazarene Church in Lakeland and a past member of the First United Methodist Church in Auburndale. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband Perry B. Stephenson; 2nd husband John R. Zetterberg; 3rd husband William Houck; brother Joseph Green; sister Jenneva Murphy; and granddaughter Tiffany Stephenson. Mrs. Houck is survived by: son Richard Arnold (Glenda) Stephenson of Winter Haven; daughter Alta Marie Church of Winter Haven; 3 grandsons Randy (Donna) Stephenson of Coden, AL, Brian (Rashel) Stephenson of Auburndale, Scott (Ava) Stephenson of Winter Haven; 2 great grandchildren: Michael (Amanda) Stephenson of CA, Ashley Stephenson of Winter Haven. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011 at the Kersey Funeral Home, 108 E. Lake Stella Drive, Auburndale. Interment will follow at the Auburndale Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 24, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
