Eleanor Kay Crider, a resident of Deptford, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 27, 2021. She was 73 years old. Legacy Eleanor was a Registered Nurse and retired from Underwood Hospital, Woodbury, after 26 years of service. She loved her calling in life and even after retiring, she started working as a RN at DuPonts Chambers in Penns Grove. She loved giving back in anyway she could and was known as everyone's "Unofficial Nurse", as she was always there to help if a neighbor or friend needed her attention. Over the years, she was a PTA President, softball & basketball coach, room mother, Girl Scout leader and all around active and engaged Mom. Beyond her activity as a Mom, she also gave back to the community. She volunteered for the Food Bank of America & the local Woodbury food bank, Literacy Across America and Hospice. When not giving back, she loved spending time with her husband, two daughters, son-in-laws and grand children. As a family, they loved going on vacation to Disney. Family She is the beloved Wife of 53 years to Virgil Robert Crider "Bob" and is the loving mother of Kim Sweeny (Shane) and Tracy Luciani (Jason); cherished grandmother of Jacob & Kate Luciani; also survived by many extended family members and dear friends. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation from 11:00AM to 1:00 PM on October 10, 2021 in the McGuinness Funeral Home - Woodbury, 34 Hunter Street.
