Eleanor MarshSPRINGFIELD — A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 11, at Willamalane Adult Activity Center in Springfield for Eleanor Mae Marsh of Springfield, who died March 5 of age-related causes. She was 88.She was born April 24, 1921, in Bemidgi, Minn., to John and Emma Vogel Hintz. She married Thomas Fritz on June 24, 1945, in Omaha, Neb. He died June 21, 1995. She married Noah Marsh on June 29, 1996, in Gretna, Neb. He died Dec. 6, 2000.She graduated from high school in Nebraska and attended some college classes. She was an artist, wood carver and art instructor.Survivors include a son, David Fritz of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Suzan Harper of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Sally Filiault of Seattle; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to Willamalane Adult Activity Center.
