Eleanor Una Parker
June 19th, 1934 - May 24th, 2011
"Ludlow, Eleanor Una (Dufault) Alix Parker, 76, of Wilson St., died peacefully on Tuesday, May 24 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Chicopee, June 19, 1934, she was the daughter of Emile and Marie (Toussaint) Dufault and lived in Springfield for many years before moving to Ludlow 20 years ago. Ellie worked for Providence Hospital and later Mercy Hospital before retiring in 1999. She loved to sing and dance and had a wonderful sense of humor. Her big heart touched many lives with her constant concern to help everyone. Above all she loved her family and thrived on their love of life. She will be deeply missed by her 6 children, Donald Alix and his wife Donna of Palmer, Joanne Mars and her husband Richard of Hampden, Kevin Alix and his wife Barbara of Northampton, John Alix of Belchertown, Jeffrey Alix and his wife Juanita of Whitehouse, NJ, and Michael Parker and his wife Tamaris of Springfield. She also leaves her 20 precious grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren along with her brother Leo Dufault and his wife Barbara of Palm Bay, FL. Besides her parents her husband Aurie Parker, daughter in law Darlene (Hubler) Alix, and sister and brother in law Yvette and Edward Blaney preceded her in death. Viewing hours will be Tuesday, May 31 from 4:00 � 7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home, 10 Maple St. For those wishing, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
