Elena Grace Sanchez

Elena Grace Sanchez, 66, died May 1, 2021, peacefully and surrounded by her family. At Elena’s request, there will be no viewing or service. Elena was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico, on August 24, 1955. Elena loved to spend her time working on her beautiful art projects. She beautifully created earrings, crosses and mosaics, and would often gave them away as gifts. Elena loved to laugh, had a great sense of humor, and a way of making you laugh and smile. She loved babies, flea markets, making her delicious salsa, collecting interesting pieces to create her beautiful art, plants, driving to Santa Fe and Chimayo to take in the beautiful art. She will be greatly missed, and will be a missing part of all of our lives. She is proceeded in death by her mother, Micaela Gonzalez, brother, Edwardo Gonzalez, and sister Eliser Flores. She is survived by her son, Gilbert A. Gonzalez; father Gilberto B. Gonzalez, sisters, Maria Knight, Margarita Gonzalez, LeAndra Gonzalez, granddaughter, Viviana, and many nieces and nephews that she dearly loved.
