January 19th, 1978 - August 24th, 2013
ELIAS J. STOLLENWERK age 35 of Jefferson, passed away on Saturday August 24, 2013 as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born on January 19, 1978 in Brookfield, Wisconsin son of James and Meggan (Hayes) Stollenwerk. He married Jennifer Crouch on May 19, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson. Elias graduated from Whitewater High School in 1997. He served in the United States Army from 1998-2005. He was a member of the Whitewater American Legion post #173 in Whitewater. Elias had planned on going back to school to become a Respiratory Therapist, he was to have started classes Monday August 26, prior to that he had been employed at Hypro Inc in Whitewater. He will be deeply missed by his wife; Jennifer of Jefferson His Father and Step-Mother; James and Bridgid Ronan-Stollenwerk of Whitewater Sisters; Alexiaus (Stephen) Grabinski of Tomah, Moira (Walter) Kalman of Hatley, Maternal Grandmother; Mary Beth Hayes of Shalimar FL Nieces and Nephews; Robert and Meggan Kalman, Stephen, James and Ellie Grabinski, Iris Ali. Father-in-law; Russell Crouch of Port Charlotte FL, Mother-in-law; Jane Crouch of Jefferson and Sister-in-law; Kerri (Isaac) Ali of Tampa FL and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Meggan Stollenwerk, Grandparents; LaVern Nyklewicz, Walter Stollenwerk, Lt. Col. Robert Hayes. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday August 29, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating. Military honors will follow the Mass. Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson and then again on Thursday morning at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
