Elinor Katherine (Gavaghan) Stanton Elinor Stanton born on November 3, 1926 to Francis and Julia Gavaghan in Boston, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on January 16, 2015 at the age of 88 in Tacoma Washington. Elinor is predeceased by her parents Frank and Julia, brothers Paul Gavaghan and Robert Gavaghan, husband John Stanton, and son Patrick Stanton. Elinor is survived by daughters, Ellen Stanton (Harry) of North Caldwell, New Jersey, Carolyn Stanton of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Paula Pearcy (David Sr.) of Tacoma, Washington; grandchildren Kristen Hillman (Cory) and David Pearcy, Jr. (Amy); great-grandchildren Logan and Greyson Hillman, and Connor and Adalyn Pearcy. Elinor was a long-time resident of Belmont MA who recently moved to Tacoma to be with family. She had many friends and extended family and will be greatly missed.
