Elio B. Castillo

Elio B. Castillo of Port Charlotte, FL passed away April 8th, 2024, at the age of 58. Elio was born in Villa Fundacion, Bani, Dominican Republic. Elio migrated to the United States in his late teens and spent the majority of his life in New York where he owned a few grocery stores in the Bronx. The warm weather brought him to Florida in 2012 and he ultimately became the owner of EC Fresh Fruits and Vegetables in Port Charlotte. Over the years, his passions included cars & DIY around the house. He was always available to help his friends out with anything that could pertain to cars. He was a hardworking man who worked solely to give his daughters and wife a good life. Elio will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Elio is survived by his wife, Teresa Castillo, his daughters, Clara and Nataly Castillo. He also leaves behind 1 sister and his parents: Leda Medina, Elio Onani Castillo, Cruz Dilia Castillo Nuñez.
