Elisabeth Baker
September 25th, 1940 - December 8th, 2015
Elisabeth Baker, age 75, a 23 year resident of Las Vegas, died Tuesday, December 8, 2015. Elisabeth was born September 25, 1940 in Troupau Czechoslovakia to the late Adolph H and the late Erika (Keiser) Krumpholz. Elisabeth grew up in Czechoslovakia and came to the US after WWII. Shortly after, she married and began her family. She moved to Las Vegas in 1992. Elisabeth enjoyed many things in life such as knitting, reading, puzzles, Miami Vice, bingo, the Kansas City Chiefs and had a tremendous love for animals. Most of all she loved her family. Elisabeth will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Elisabeth is survived by her children Sandy (Michael) Rogers of Las Vegas, Cindy Pherago of Knoxville IA, Hudson (Sunny Lee) Baker Sr. of Las Vegas, Ward James Baker Sr. of Denver CO, Kenny (Kim) Eifler aka Marcus Baker of North Glen CO, Marry (Norman) Lively of Woodville TX and Linda (Larry) Klimes of Las Vegas; grandchildren Valarie Garcia, Ward Baker Jr, Hudson Baker Jr, Margaret Jade Lively, Anya Van Cleave and Brianna Eifler; great grandchildren Alexis Garcia, Jordan Garcia, and Arabella Brian Van Cleave; and siblings Hartmute (Francine) Krumpholz and Edmute (Terry) Gray. She is predeceased by husband Joseph Baker; children Thomas Mendoza, Bonifuss Mendoza, Pauline Wiojnarwoski and Joseph Baker Jr; and siblings Caroline, Gurtrude and Adolf. A visitation will take place on Monday, December 14 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Drive, Suite 104, Las Vegas, NV, 89134. The funeral will be held at 9:20 am on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV.
