Eliseo R. Sisneros

Eliseo R. Sisneros, age 86, formally of Belen and currently of Albuquerque, passed away on Monday April 16, 2012. He was a member of both Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church and Saint Joseph's on the Rio Grande. Mr. Sisneros was a Veteran having served the duration of World War II in the US Navy, and also served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was also a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, and the Morse Code Radio Club. Mr. Sisneros was preceded in death by his son, Estevan Z. Sisneros. He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Brigida Z. Sisneros; his eldest son, Eliseo Z. Sisneros Jr. and his wife Helena, son Dennis Z. Sisneros and his wife Martha, son Arthur M. Sisneros, son Robert A. Sisneros and Rosemary Martinez; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Riverside Funeral Home Los Lunas Chapel on Wednesday April 18, 2012 beginning at 6:30pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. Final viewing will begin at 11:30am Thursday April 19, 2012 at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church with Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 12:00pm. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Riverside Funeral Home of Los Lunas, 820 Main St, 565-1700.
