February 3rd, 1924 - March 23rd, 2015
Eliza C. Porter, age 91, of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 23, 2015 at Brook Haven Manor is Kingsport. She was a loving mother and grandmother and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph W. Porter; son, Ralph G. Porter; parents, Parkie James and Sarah Isabelle Dillon; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; and 2 very special nephews, Virgil Dillon and Howard Cleek. She is survived by her 2 grandsons, Justin Porter (Christy) and Josh Porter (Laura); a granddaughter, Krystal Caitlin (Kevin); 11 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Friday, March 27, 2015, at Scott County Funeral Home in Weber City, VA. Funeral services will begin at 7:00 pm. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at East Tennessee Cemetery in Blountville. Carter-Trent/Scott County Funeral Home is proudly serving the Porter family.
