"Betty" Age 80 Of Mahtomedi Passed away peacefully on February 25, 2011, surrounded by family. Devoted wife of Joe for almost 54 years, who preceeded her in death. Loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Survived by children Mickey Koch (Dan), Bob (Sandy), Pat Carvelli, Joe, Cathy Bothwell (Dan), Marty (Judy), Anne Raymond (Brad); 18 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. Mom's greatest joys in life included spending time with family, road trips, get-a-ways with the girls, and her little dog, Mitzi. Mom had a big heart, a smile for everyone, and enjoyed a good laugh. Mom's family was everything to her and was her comfort in her final days. Mom, we will miss you. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, 10:30 am at PRESENTATION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1725 Kennard at Larpenteur, Maplewood. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 5-8 pm at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 East 7th Avenue, North St. Paul and 1 hour before Mass at church. Memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society .
