Elizabeth Sue Cronin

Elizabeth (Beth) Sue (Eilers) Cronin, 53, of Tucson, AZ passed away unexpectedly on February 22, 2023. She was preceded in death by her father, Delos Alan Eilers and is survived by her mother, Karen Marie Eilers, of Cottage Grove, MN. She leaves behind her husband, Dennis James Cronin, of Tucson, AZ, her children, Nicole Erin Cronin (Tyler Johnson), of Monticello, MN, Matthew Thomas Cronin, of Tucson, AZ, Alan Joseph (AJ) Cronin, of Tucson, AZ and her sisters, Kathryn (Kathy) Eilers (Scott Smallidge), of Hastings, MN and Margaret (Meg) Eilers (Jon Butwinick), of Apple Valley, MN. Also mourning Beth’s passing are in-laws, Patrick and Frances Cronin, of Coon Rapids, MN and brother-in-law, Michael Cronin, of Coon Rapids, MN. Born on June 6, 1969 in St. Paul, MN, Beth graduated from Woodbury, MN High School in 1987 and Iowa State University in 1991, with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She also earned a Master’s of Science degree in Curriculum and Instructional Technology from Iowa State University in 1995. Beth’s greatest joy in life was her three children. She always found time to help support the swim team, the soccer team or the marching band. Beth had an affinity for children and the elderly and people that knew her would describe her as kind, empathetic and selfless. Beth was always active in her church including many years as a Stephen Minister. She also enjoyed Arizona biking, hiking and playing golf. Beth leaves behind numerous friends in Weddington, NC, Chandler, AZ, Shakopee/Apple Valley/Burnsville, MN and Montreal, Quebec, where she also lived. A celebration of life will be held at Tanque Verde Lutheran Church (tvlc.org) in Tucson on Saturday, March 4, 2023, beginning at 10:30 AM MST with Gathering at 10:00 AM MST. Additionally, a celebration of life will be held at The Grove United Methodist Church (www.thegrovemn.church) in Woodbury, MN on March 11, 2023, beginning at 11:00 AM CST, with Gathering at 10:00 AM CST.
