Elizabeth “Ansley” Eller Angel, 49 of Lexington, South Carolina, passed away on July 14, 2023. She was born March 4, 1974, to Deborah and Walter Eller, Jr. Ansley, the most loving and devoted daughter, niece, sister, and aunt is survived by her parents, Deborah and Walter Eller Jr.; brother and sister-in-law, Walter “Trae” Eller III, and Shelley; aunt and uncle, Sally and Drew Basinger, aunt and uncle, Rebecca and Richard Paynter; niece, Charlotte-Rose Eller. As a passionate animal lover, Ansley also considered her many dogs and cats to be part of her family. Her pets were a source of comfort and strength through her ongoing health challenges.   Upon graduation from Lexington High School in 1992, she had a successful career working for several great companies, including Spence’s Glass, Bell South, AT&T and Windstream. Ansley had the personality and natural charisma to make friends no matter the situation. Fiercely loyal and independent, she was a defender of the underdog and was a woman of integrity – she did what she said she would do. Two of Ansley’s favorite things were being on Lake Murray and dancing with friends. She was very close to her parents and cherished spending time with them. Ansley loved her brother Trae, and adored her niece Charlotte-Rose, who was the light of her life. Ansley was a truly wonderful woman whose impact will be forever felt by her family that loves her dearly. Her passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of her loved ones.

Debbie, Butch, Trae and Family - words can’t express how sorry I am for your loss. I have so many incredible memories with your Ansley - one of the most loving, vivacious, spirited women I’ve ever known. It started when she asked if I wanted to sit by her at work, and in return, I asked if she would be my friend. That was all it took. It was sheer luck that we both had a love of Carolina football, true crime shows, and rearranging furniture over and over again. She was a shining light in my life, a powerful influence, and the source of more “laugh ‘til you cry” moments than anyone before or since. Ansley was always, in my eyes, larger than life. She threw her love into the world like confetti and everyone who met her got at least a few sprinkles. We’re all better because of it. From the bottom of my heart, I pray that you find comfort and peace knowing that she’s home, she’s whole, and that Abbey has been patiently waiting for her.

🕯️ I met Ansley at Oak Grove Elementary and we became fast friends. Who knew that friendship would span over 40 years? She was such a beautiful lady, inside and out. Her smile was captivating and being around her always made me happy. She was funny and sweet and seeing her in pain these past several years broke my heart. I wanted to take it from her but knowing Ansley, she would never have allowed it. I will miss this beautiful soul so very much. Mr. and Mrs. Eller, Trae, family and friends, you are in my thoughts and prayers. May God wrap His mighty arms around you all and give you the strength needed to survive this. May He give her precious animals peace and understanding; but most of all, I pray He will allow you all to feel her around you when you feel overwhelmed and miss her the most. Peace be with you.
