Elizabeth "Bettye" Keese passed away in her sleep on Saturday July 18, 2009. She is survived by her two sons Merlin Christian "Chris" and Gregory along with their immediate families Pam, Lindsey and Abby Keese of Denver Colorado and Kim, Morgan, Tanner and Nathaniel Keese of Lake Tahoe California. Bettye was a long-standing member of the Bay Pines / Seminole / Madeira Beach community having moved to the area in 1956. After raising her two boys, Bettye became an active participant in the local Real Estate community beginning her career in 1968 in Madeira Beach and eventually opening "Keese Reality in 1979 at which she remained active until her retirement in 2007. Bettye was a friend to all who crossed her path and an encouraging mother and grandmother. We will miss her dearly. Service will be held at Reese Funeral Home in Seminole Fl. on Saturday, July 25 at 11:00 am with interment at Bay Pines National Cemetery on Monday July 27. Donations to the American Cancer Society or Sun Coast Hospice should be made in lieu of flowers.
